About Us
If you are looking to find a guide to help you explore our beautiful island then this is the site for you.
The Jersey Tour Guides Association (JTGA) was established in 1995 to represent the interests of those involved in guided tourism in Jersey and to provide information to the trade and anyone interested in learning more about our island. Our guides are a mix of Blue Badge and Bronze Badge holders and some specialists with a high level of knowledge on certain aspects of the island; many can guide in different languages.
The JTGA promotes employment of professional guides who can offer a variety of tours e.g. by coach, car, on foot, by bike or kayak. The guides are self employed and they negotiate their own fees and terms of trade with their clients.
The association is an associate member of the British Guild of Registered Tourist Guides which provides liability insurance for Blue Badge Guides.
